PROJECT PRESENTATION
The #destinazioneguado project, which we are developing within the ValdericArte container, envisages the creation of a center of activities, services, research and experimentation on the ford.
The general objectives are:
- to rediscover the world that lies behind this plant and to develop all its possible contemporary variations;
- build an active project of fusion between artistic research and applied arts, between alchemical practices and science, between craftsmanship of ancient peoples and creative innovation linked to woading;
- create a point of reference in the region, which in collaboration with other realities, becomes a national point of reference on the ford.
Specifically, the company intends to develop:
- a library and a small museum of wading;
- a thematic trail;
- the reactivation of the ancient ford mill;
- #destinazioneguado itineraries;
- a guide book on the ford lands between Marche, Umbria and Tuscany;
- collaborations with institutions, companies, museums and universities; meetings,
- laboratories and workshops; themed stays and tastings.
To achieve everything, it was necessary to make the structure suitable for all aspects of hospitality.
